Had a 6 hour trip today and the fishing was wide open from start to finish! We started out by targeting vermillion and white snapper, had our limit within the first 2 hours of fishing. Had some time left over so I took them out a little further to put them on some big amberjack and red snapper, the amberjack were hungry and we landed 4 big jack in 30 minutes! Amberjack season is out so we took some pictures and released them and the fish were healthy. The bite is hot right now!
