Despite windy conditions South Padre offer is protected waters that hold good water clarity. This day was one of those days where the wind didn’t stop blowing but the fishing was still consistent. Guys were able to catch some nice fish.

Crew from out of town had a great time in south, padre and Fishing with me. We left the Doc early in the morning and start the day catching smaller fish as the wind picked up the bite did to. Everybody caught fish and left with a smile as we had a incredible day of fishing.

Guides day off I was able to get a fishing trip in despite the windy conditions and found a good snook bite. Spring as a great time for Snook Fishing as water temperatures heat up.

Repeat clients had themselves a great afternoon trip. Redfish bite is great in windy conditions. Lower Laguna offers protected shorelines and that’s exactly what we fished. Momma gad the biggest lf rhe 10 redfish they caught. Measured out to 30 inches! Dinner is looking food for this crew!

Spring fishing is always a good time for fishing. Get use to the wind as will be consistent thru spring months, but dont be discouraged some of our best fishing is on the windy days.
