Captain Bill Gregson not to blame for our poor catch. He was most gracious in every way and tried diligent to find fish for us. Unfortuantly the weather (thunderstorms) delayed start of trip and fish quit biting by midday when we got on the water. My wife & I look forward to fishing with him again! mike k Tyler TX

Late winter on, March, should be better. Watch the tide. We could have walked across the bay. Poco Loco bait shop and marina was well equipped.

There is no fishing in Harlingen- I would definitely recommend fishing in Port Mansfield which is about a 45 minute drive.

Hire a charter. Fishing from peers or wading is very slow. Every Summer there is very little live bait if you like to fish that way. I would recommend early to mid Fall

Plan on wind year around but lots of fish and open water. Primarily wade and drift fishing.
