What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Fort Myers Beach, Florida for the first time?

If you are going offshore fishing for the first time, I suggest taking a shorter trip to make sure you don't get seasick. It's a different ballgame when you are over 30 miles out. Not everyone can handle it.

Fished offshore with Joe and had a fantastic time. Captain Joe put us on many species including King, Cobia, Grunt and others. Went home with fish dinner for days! Great boat and captain! Will be going again. Thanks Joe.

I'm sure there are more plentiful seasons, but it has been a great experience for us 2 years in a row. We are out for the fun and memories, and if we get a mess of fish for the table even better- we've accomplished that 2 years in a row.

Go on a chartered trip if budget allows if not ask local bait shop where the fish are biting .
