What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Thunderbolt, Georgia for the first time?

Be sure to wear sunglasses, sunscreen, (especially on your face), warm jacket (as the air is cooler when the boat is moving around. Have patience, not everything you catch is a keeper, and you don’t catch everything that tugs on your line. Just go to enjoy being our on the water and everything else is an added bonus.

Make sure you have sunscreen and the proper clothing for that time of year. I would also recommend Bad Intentions fishing with Marcus Knowledgeable and I’m also certain you will catch a fish., and have a great time.

Bring a jacket and some gloves in you take a morning trip (because it was alittle chilly) but as the sun come up we started getting warmer

Come with an open mind. Not every fish is a keeper and you don’t always get every fish into the boat.

Go for Redfish. They are a ton of fun to catch as they put up a great fight and if you keep them they taste great too.

Bring a light jacket during the cooler months, it gets a bit chilly enroute to the fishing spots.

Make sure to see the weather beforehand because it can affect the biting, but, just be patient because even with stormy conditions, I felt the sharks bite and it was a hell of a time :)

It’s hot out there so make sure you wear sunscreen/cover up. The parking is great so don’t worry about that.
