Book the trip! It is well worth your time! Just bring your lunch and sunscreen and the crew will handle the rest! The equipment is top notch and the boat is outstanding! I was highly impressed with everything especially how the Captain responded back to our questions immediately! They will have your party ready to go and know where everything on the boat is! You won’t be disappointed!

Fun. This was a very sunny day and warm which the kids were not used to (from Ohio).
We were actively catching fish, saw manatee and dolphins which was fun for everyone except when the dolphin stole our fish ?

Find a guide who knows the water and has experience with landing different styles of fish. It's important that they have proper working equipment and fishing tackle. Make sure they have a contingency plan if the boat has issues. Make sure you have bug spray and sun protection. Make sure you have the proper fishing license and Florida wildlife book for information on size limits and creel limits.

Mornings get hot quick, but nights can get thunderstorms, so prepare accordingly. I haven’t fished any other time of year here to compare.

Bring, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and a snack. Captain Russel will provide everything else.
Have a cooler in your vehicle to bring home the fish that Russel fillets for you.

I would definitely recommend fishing in Palmetto. 2 hour trip was good but 4 would have been great.

Today was a little windy but we caught lots of fish. Some too small to keep but still had awesome time.

As expected the bite is best first thing in the AM. Bring your hat sunscreen, sunglasses and stay hydrated!

Definitely. If you are a novice or experienced angler this would be a great choice
