What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Conneaut, Ohio for the first time?

Not sure about all of Conneaut, but the fishing with Ted was good. He was very friendly and easy going captain. Catching was good but Ted made the experience good. The fishing was pretty good I'd say we were in fish for 4.5 hours. Most were average size, caught a couple really nice ones. Overall a good trip and experience.

We always take dramamine the night before trip & day of. We pack Zero drinks, water & sodas. We buy pre-made subs for lunch. Baby wipes or hand sanitizer for hands.

Be ready for a great time and make sure your ready for a good workout lol. My partners are ready to go again.

From the bait shop to the crew the folks in conneaut get it. They appreciate the business go out if their way to make you feel welcome. It's not fancy but it is a sportsmans dream

If you can swing it get a charter. They know where the fish are and how to get them.

Book with "It's About Time" or "Crack of Dawn" Charters. These guys know Walleye's!

Always check in with your captain about the weather. The lake can be a bit choppy at times.
