What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Bokeelia, Florida for the first time?

Captain John Reid a very good man at his trade very polite and professional you won’t be disappointed

Wear sunblock and take Dramamine if you are uncertain about seasickness in rough water; no sense ending the day early.

We had very windy conditions which was a challenge, but Captain Billy still found fish at every location.

Not sure if bad is the correct rating for the month but rather the day we chose. Fish just were not at the spots we fished. We hit a bunch of different places but none were producing.

Be prepared for weather that ranges from blistering hot and sunny to chilly rainstorms. No matter the weather though, there is all sorts of fishing to get on.

All I say is listen to Captains advice. The man knows his stuff to tides, weather and moons. He will put you on the fish. The rest is up you.

Captain Dave is a great captain, put us on the fish all day long. I am planning to go out with him again.

If you or your kids have any hesitation about getting seasick, I would recommend staying close to shore

Catching snook was awesome. Great bite and fight. We got into a school of ladyfish. Caught some trout as well. Saw dolphins. Had a great trip.
