What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Trou Aux Biches for the first time?

Peak months for marlin are December to march. Lots of tuna and dorado to be caught with the chance of big tuna if you're lucky. If prone to seas sickness get tablets in advance and enjoy your day. Evrything is provided on boat except clothes. Shorts are warm enough.

Captain Kevin was very professional and looked after us very well, the only criticism I would have he and his crew were not very communicative during the trip about the boat and type of fishing we were going to do, but would definitely go with him again.

If you suffer from travel sickness, make sure to take some medication before. I’m usually seasick, and it was a windy day with rough sea, but I took a tablet and wasn’t seasick at all. There’s a specific brand of medication called Karl’s. If you take one of them you won’t be seasick no matter how rough it is! Ginger also helps so bring some ginger bisquits. Also, bring a raincoat!

If fishing live bait, ask the captain to give you a rod too, otherwise you will be watching the crew fish and waiting for them to hook one for you. If you are a fisherman, you will want to experience the take!!!

The skipper (Kevin) and crew are friendly and try everything to put you in the fish. All of the equipment is top of the line and looked after. The boat is fast to get you to your locations quicker and has everything on it you need for an enjoyable day out.

Loads of tuna around the day we went out! Great captain and crew we felt very well looked after! Highly recommend this fishing trip!

I had fished before buty girlfriend hadn't and the crew helped her catch and explained everything to her

Kevin did advise us that this was not the best time of year for fishing and suggested we left early in order to maximise our chances. He was right!

If mick ask you to come earlier will advise yes couse cought all our fish early morning before the sun came out

If you are fishing on a cloudy or cold day bring rain gear, a change of clothes and flip flops for the boat.

Be prepared to start early for best results. Bring longer sleeves for the early morning hours and sunscreen for the later morning.

Not so many or the big fish round at this time , so a simpler, nearshore trip with plenty of variety was perfect

I would absolutely recommend this for first timers. The captain and crew can teach you.

I would definitely recommend fishing in Trou Aux Biches for that awesome game fishing experience.

Best fishing is often first hours of daylight so be prepared for a very early start!
