my original “guide” I booked on here (johnny tb a no-show) ghosted me after I booked a month ahead, took multiple days off work, airfare, hotel, car rental, etc.  anyway, in comes the afishianado!  saved the day! great guide, very ool dude, personable and honestly the hardest working guide I’ve ever had the luck of using!  he will show up (key detail!!!) on time, loaded with bait, and ready to put you on the fish!  a guide’s job is to help you catch fish, not make you watch HIM catch fish, and captain owen gets it!  I had a blast and hope to be in the tampa area again one day so we can get back out and catch some more!  I definitely recommend this guide!

It was a birthday suprise for me and it was really great. Wade is a great captain. He has everything you need for fishing. You just need to bring snacks.
We approached a meticulously clean boat with great music playing- especially if you like Zeppelin!.. we do🙂.
Our first stop gave us the opportunity to to fish in a quiet fish filled area. I am a novice fisher.. but Wade made sure to put bait on for us and bring us to places where a catch would be guaranteed.

He is a proud boat owner and it shows. His boat is clean, clutter free and comfortable.
We caught multiple fish and kept 4. When we arrived back to shore- Wade fileted our catch..which we will have for dinner tonight.
If you want a guaranteed good day on the water… I say choose Wade.
We will definitely book him again.
He also takes photos and sends them to you- which is awesome.

I’ve used many fishing guides through out Central and North America and hands down Afishionados has been by far the best. We were a group of 5, 2 Adults and 3 kids. I was the only one in the group with a lot of fishing experience, but it didn’t matter. Captain Wade made it so easy and fun to fish the my young niece and nephew, who had no fishing experience, had an amazing time. All the other guides that I have hired have had a fist mate helping them, so when I saw that Captain Wade was working by himself, I mentally prepare myself and the kids to have a lot of down time, but I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case. Captain Wade’s system for baiting your hook was so efficient that you spend almost all of your time with your line in the water. Which equates to catching more fish. I caught more keepers on this trip than I did in my last 3 trips combined. Also, Captain Wade is a trained photographer and it shows in the quality of the pictures he took. He takes care of taking all the pictures, so that you don’t miss out in capturing the great memories. I can’t wait until I’m in the Tampa area again so that I can hire Captain Wade of Afishionados to take me on another amazing fishing trip.

Had a great time with Captain Wade and Afishianado! Wade spent the time to familiarize us with the equipment and techniques, and had us on Redfish and Snook pretty quickly. We also caught Mackerel and Sea Trout, among other species. Not to mention that we saw an Osprey, numerous wading birds, several dolphins, and two manatees! One cow and one calf. Outstanding day!!! Thank you Wade!!!!!

I sent my husband, son, dad and brothers on an inshore fishing adventure as a Christmas present. The communication with Captain Wade before the charter was excellent. We felt very prepared and he was friendly and considerate. The guys said they all had a great time and one of my brothers “complained” that he didn’t have enough work to do because Captain Wade was so quick at baiting hooks and making sure the guys could spend their time catching fish! Great experience and next time, I’m joining for sure. My husband is asking when he can go again! Thank you again and Merry Christmas!!
