I’ve chartered a lot of fishing services in the past and Afishionado ranks up at the top. In addition to having a well-maintained boat, all the fishing tackle and gear was ready-to-go and in excellent condition. There was also plenty of live bait on board to provide the best opportunity to catch fish. On top of that, Wade is highly knowledgeable about the area and where the fish are located. And if for some reason the fish stop hitting in one area, he is quick to suggest other options to provide the most action and the best value. Wade is also great with kids and is skilled at teaching the basics to ensure a good time is had by all. We had the best morning with Captain Wade. My daughters love to fish and doing a private charter was one of their vacation requests. I am so glad we landed on Wade. We had a memorable morning and we hope to cross paths with him again.

Most importantly, Captain Wade is detail-oriented and we immediately felt taken care of in his clean boat with his straight-forward and important safety rules. Just as importantly, he taught us HOW to effectively fish. He didn’t fish for any of us - including my daughter who reeled in a Bonnet Shark! He gave all instructions and was incredibly supportive.

Our trip with Captain Wade wasn’t just some morning on the water. It was a learning experience and it was successful! In addition to that shark, we caught snapper and snook. Five of us chartered a 6-hour trip with Wade Osborne on his 24-foot Sheaffer the end of February.  We had a great day on the water, and caught fish at almost all of the spots he took us.  Wade met us at the Grandy boat ramp at 7:30 AM, after having already been out to catch bait.  Wade worked his butt off keeping us baited and our lines in the water, and we caught snook, redfish, and several sea trout.  It wasn’t a day where we were pulling fish out of the water constantly, but we caught fish, saw dolphins, got up close to lots of bird life, and generally had a great trip.  Wade has been guiding for over 20 years and his experience shows.  We had a great trip, and recommend Wade and his boat for up to 6 people who are looking for a quality fishing experience and enjoyable day on the water.

Wade was an incredible guide and the trip was memorable.  First time catching Snook, and my son and I caught many more than we could handle.  Excellent boat, tackle, bait, and instruction.  Couldn’t have asked for a better day.  Will be back with some friends and family.  Couldn’t be happier with Capt. Wade Osborne.
