We were so impressed by our choice of a fishing outing. Captain Mike was so experienced with the surrounding areas and was very excited to share his knowledge of all the areas and fish available at each location. We enjoyed his sharing of each area’s fish to be caugh and his recommendation of the way to present the bait which provided a fantastic experience for each of us. Thank you for providing an exceptional fishing trip with great knowledge and stories about each location.

We were in Holiday visiting family members and booked a 4-hour inshore trip with captain Mike Dawson.  We had a blast and caught a load of fish.  Captain found fish despite some challenging winds and helped us out when needed.  We caught Redfish, trout, Jack Crevallle and a catfish.  As a bonus, we also caught a 7 foot bull shark!  Mike was knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to fish with.  I’d highly recommend him and when we come back down to FL we will absolutely book another trip with him!

The trip was great!  Started with Captain Michael arriving 15 minutes early.  Communicated with us to let us know exactly where he was.  His boat was clean and meticulously maintained.  As we went out to the first fishing hole, Captain Michael pointed out various landmarks and gave us a good rundown of the history of the seaside towns.  Upon arrival at the first spot, he got us fishing and within few minutes we were catching a variety of different fish.  He told us about each of the species and kept us catching Ladyfish, Spanish Mackerels, and Blue Fins.  However this was a shark trip and after about 30 minutes we moved to a different spot.  Shortly upon arrival, we hooked into the first of 2 very large (300+ lb) sharks.  Captain Michael was skilled in giving us instructions to reel these 2 massive fish next to the boat.  Once we were able to get pictures, he humanely released them.  We then enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the Gulf, and returned to the dock with great memories and a new respect for the sea creatures that inhabit that area. 

Overall, a great trip and one we would do again in a heart beat!!!

Took my 3 kids, and Dad out for some afternoon shark fishing on 12/23/23. Mike was waiting and ready to roll. Turns out that my Dad had been out fishing with Mike several times before (coincidence that I booked Mike). Beautiful afternoon. We caught two 7ft sharks, one sand bar and one bull shark. My kids were ecstatic. All of them were able to help bring them in, 11yrs - 17yrs old. My daughter and I were lucky enough to feel the bull shark’s skin. Mike was great with all of the kids. After we were smoked from fighting sharks, we ran in and caught about 15 redfish. Unbelievable! Thanks Captain Mike for the trip of a lifetime! Definitely will book again!

My son and I booked a morning trip for inland river fishing due to high winds. Michael was a very knowledgeable guide that is really in tune with where to fish and how! I had no idea how many species of fish that are in the same river let alone the rules that protect them. We ended up catching Mangrove Snapper, Sheephead and Black Drum. Michael filleted them and our family devoured them for dinner that evening! Hopefully we meet again 🐠🎣
