We were brave enough to book a charter early in season on April 5th.  Weather was not the best but we took the captains advice and dressed very warm and were just fine.  Captain Bob navigated the waters and took us to several different locations determined for a catch-and SUCCESS!!  Caught a Lake Trout !  He directed and assisted in the entire process. All through the charter he also offered info and answered all the questions I asked . I don’t believe we would have caught a fish that day if we were not with him! He continuously monitored the conditions and adjusted along the way. Definitely coming back in the summer for salmon.

My recent fishing boat experience with Captain Bob was great! Despite some challenging weather conditions, Bob’s expertise and dedication made the trip unforgettable.

In addition to the incredible fishing, the overall ambiance of the trip was fantastic. My relatives from Florida, who are no strangers to outdoor adventures, were thoroughly impressed. They marveled at the breathtaking coastal scenery and were equally captivated by Captain Bob’s wealth of knowledge.

To sum it up, our fishing boat adventure with Captain Bob was a resounding success. Despite the rough weather, his exceptional skills, warm personality, and determination made it an unforgettable experience. Catching a 5-pound salmon was just the icing on the cake! I highly recommend Captain Bob and his fishing charters for an outstanding and enjoyable time on the water. We’ll certainly be back for more adventures with him in the future!

We are very happy with our experience! Captain Bob is very knowledgeable and was explaining everything to us. We caught two types of salmon—very exciting!! We have never gone fishing before and didn’t know what to expect. The rods were really fancy just don’t think the kids could do it—I got to try it and had fun. There was a lot of waiting before the fish started biting but that’s part of it. The only downside of our fishing trip was that the kids fell asleep from taking motion sickness medication and didn’t get to experience what my wife and I did. We are definitely coming back to the Salmon Catcher next time we are in town!

Captain Bob was the absolute best! Well worth the money to have the experience and memories. Captain Bob was very personable and knew a ton of information about fishing the Great Lakes! He explained everything he was doing and the reasoning behind it. He was very professional and knew the perfect spots to go. We caught seven fish- three over 10 pounds and four under 10 pounds. Definitely recommend and appreciate captain Bob. He’s the best! He had all the equipment we needed. His boat was perfect for two to three people and we felt very safe the entire time. Such a great man to meet and hear all his knowledge about fishing and much more!

Bob is proficient in fishing and organizing fishing trips! Surely, we strongly recommend him! He gave us an amazing fishing time with a big catch of King Salmon - 8 LB. He is a very responsible and friendly person. During a fishing trip, he told us interesting stories about his life in Canada and about the history of Ontario Lake and Toronto City. Along with this, he knows the spots for good fishing to catch even in bad weather conditions for fishing. Everyone can be sure that with him, they will have a catch for sure!
