Our first day out with Captain Tom started out well, meeting the two deck hands and the Captain, and being welcomed aboard. We headed out at 6:30 and started trolling at 7:30. Our first fish was a mahi, followed shortly by a nice sailfish. By noon we had landed five sailfish, a blue marlin and four nice mahi. We fished through lunch and found a large pod of dolphins feeding, we caught two yellowfin tuna and lost two large tuna, we could have filled the boat with tuna, but decided to head back after billfish. We were rewarded with another blue marlin. We returned to the dock at about 4:15 PM. The crew had our catch cleaned by the time we arrived. The local restaurant prepared blackened mahi for dinner.

The second morning we met the captain and crew at the boat at 6:30 and were fishing by 7:30. We picked up a few smaller mahi’s and lost two blue marlin. We did land a really nice blue marlin just before lunch. After lunch we found a floating log and caught some very large mahi. The crew again had our mahi cleaned by the time we reached the dock. The Hookup restaurant prepared fish tacos and a great teriyaki fish appetizer for dinner, using our mahi.

We have fished in many parts of the world, this was by far the best and most exciting big game fishing experience we have had. You will not find a crew and captain more devoted and that work so well together.

The boat was stocked with snacks, the crew were tremendously helpful, informative, and by far the hardest working team I have had the pleasure to fish alongside. Tom had us on top of Tuna within minutes of having bait in the water and we were able to catch half a dozen billfish throughout the day.

This was a great experience, and I would recommend Captain Tom to anyone looking for a charter. 10/10 and if I am back in the area for a charter will be looking him up.

We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Just my wife and I for a half day, and it was excellent. Baits were hardly in the water when we hooked our first sailfish. In all, we were 4/4 on Sail, caught a decent Mahi for dinner, and at one point were hooked up on two Blue Marlin at the same time. Sadly we lost those, but the experience was awesome. I highly recommend this boat, and crew. I know we’ll be calling again next time we’re here.

Excellent day that started right on time. Captain Tom was waiting for us at the Marina. Immediately acquainted us with the First Mate and skipper. Both we extremely helpful and polite. We scored some excellent dolphin watching while waiting for the Yellowfin Tuna to bite. Was able to pull up 3 out of 4 monsters. On the way back to the marina we snagged a 300# blue fin marlin. Spectacular day! Highly recommended 👌

I can’t say enough good things about this captain, crew and vessel! 2 blue Marlin, 3 sails and a Dorado! Captain Tom has an excellent reputation for putting you on the fish and that’s what made me pick him! “ Dreamworks” will definitely make dreams come true!
