Fabulous day fishing with Captain Charles and crew of Nevagiveup out of Havanna Harbour and out to the Fads. The wind had blown up overnight unexpectedly which made for some choppy swells and the fish didn’t want to play too much (but hey, that’s fishing and if you must come away with a fish,  go out and buy one!). True to the boat’s name,  Captain Charles never gave up and we finished the day with a great yellowfin tuna and a monty of a wahoo thanks to the expert skippering.  Very professional outfit and highly recommend.

I have done a few charters now over the years in Vanuatu and these guys are the go too ! Nothing was a problem for these guys they knew their stuff and caught us a heap of fish.  Even after we’d caught a heap they were looking for new options and working hard till we turned home .lThen on the way back they stopped for a jig for more fish, catching an amberjack. The food was great and would highly recommend this charter for anyone chasing some great Pacific Ocean fishing !! Cheers guys I’ll be back !

Very pleased with Captain Charles and deckhand Georgie, they managed to get us on to a nice fish and accomodated us all very nicely. Crusoe charters were very accomodating with the circumstances.

Due to the weather conditions, there was a possibly that we wouldn’t be able to go fishing. Captain Charles moved the fishing vessel to the other side of the island, out of the wind and bad conditions, so we could go fishing! They also organised a bus to and from where the fishing vessel was docked.
Overall very happy with this charter and would recommend it to anyone looking at going fishing out of Port Vila!!!

Michelle and her decky were great. Good gear, good boat and good food. The fishing was a bit frustrating with a lot of sharks hanging around the fad we were fishing. Hooked 4 good yellow fin and only managed to land one due to the sharks. Did start trolling away from the fad to avoid the sharks but with no luck. Landed a big shark as well. Overall disappointed we didn’t catch more fish but it could have been a really good day if the tax man wasn’t hanging around. Can’t fault the efforts of the charter tho. You do pay more for these guys but you notice the difference in the service. I did do one of the cheaper charters and the skipper, crew and gear was far below standard.

Stayed close fist trip with Charles due to 16 knots and caught two good size Wahoo wasn’t for the lack of trying but nothing else biting.
Second day with Richard out to FAD’s all landed yellow fin Tuna, one of us hooked up to blue Marlin only to loose it at the boat due to unfortunately hooking it on light gear and the real breaking away from the rod.
We all keen fisho’s and both fishing trips were very enjoyable with one of us coming away with almost landing her first Marlin.
