Our specific trip was limited to in-shore fishing around the harbor which included near dredged channels, spoiler islands, and boat docks.  I would book captain Zach and his boat again if I knew we were fishing off shore, but not a repeat of our urban fishing trip.  Despite the best efforts of our captain we barely caught enough legal sea trout and mangrove snapper to feed 4 people for dinner.  We caught some smaller trout, snapper, grouper, lady fish, pin fish, and catfish.  Did not find any red fish, snook, tarpon, or larger fish that would make the trip worthwhile.

Where to begin. The owner. We were contacted by the owner and he talked with us about the weather the day we had originally booked the trip. It was cold, windy and just not ideal conditions. He worked with us and got us on a day and time he knew we would get into fish. So friendly and helpful! I have used other guide services and never have I had one this concerned for our trip and our experience. Most might have just taken the booked date and the money and gone on with life. Not this company. Not Wet Lines. They hooked us up! Literally and figuratively. They also talked to us about our expectations and goals. Explained to him what we wanted and WOW did they come through for us!
The captain!! We met Captain Kyle and set out and it was none stop action. We piled the fish into the boat and filled the cooler until we couldn’t hardly fit anymore. I had told him what fish I wanted to target and he got us on them! Smoked a few of the target fish after we had already piled the cooler full then we took off to a new spot and got on some trophy redfish! It was like taking candy from a baby, WHAM! One after another we set the hook on some wild fighting redfish.
There was one downside…. The trip ended early. Why? We ran out of bait!! Now, you might say this means they were unprepared. Nope! It was simply because we had caught sooooo many fish, we literally ran the boat out of bait before our time. That’s how incredible the fishing was. They cleaned the fish for us and sent us to a nearby restaurant that was also incredible and we ate the days catch until we could eat no more.

Book this outfit. You will not be disappointed. You will head home with tons of fish and tons of incredible memories.

Seriously. I have been on several trips out on the water with several different outfits. These guys are so personable and friendly. Can’t say enough about these guys.

Went on a four hour trip with my boyfriend from college who has only fished fresh water and does so a lot. We were impressed by Kyle and his experienced, he answered all of our questions and was very personable. We even brought some trout filets home to grandma out of the handful of keepers and giants we caught. We caught several species and saw dolphins, manatees, and many others. Kyle was very mindful and helpful during our 4 hour trip and welcoming from the start. We will definitely be coming back during the summer to see what else we can catch!!!

Captain Kyle took us out on a 6hr trip. Cap was a really chill guy and kept us right on top of the fish! Local boy knows the spots! Caught a ton of fish! These guys did a great job of filleting our fish. Not one bone and we have ate a lot of it over the last couple days. We also got a great recommendation for a Catch & Cook restaurant from Kyle super close to our Hotel! So awesome if you are visiting from out of town and you don’t have access to a kitchen. 10/10 recommend these guys if you wanna have a great day on the water! We will be back! Thank you Wet Lines!!!

It was a great trip!  We caught a few normal sized redfish and a big trout.  I had a huge snook take my bait and run away from shore.  I lost him as he was running but that was user error.  Near the end of the trip we caught 2, 32+” redfish.  Captain Zach delivered an unforgettable experience for my son and me.  Next time we are in the area, we will definitely call Wet Lines!
