I’ve been on a lot of trips with a lot of guides and I got to tell you this one is by far the best. He’s not just a guide he’s a teacher. Take some time for clients to learn with hands-on experience throughout the entire trip. Everyone had a good time and it was well worth it. Will definitely use this guide from now on

My wife and I had an awesome trip - we couldn’t have asked for more. All guides have good days and slower days, but Woody puts every bit of effort into finding the fish. On our particular day, we were one of just two boats catching spring salmon, which was a longtime goal of mine. We also made a run for ling cod when the currents weren’t cooperating for salmon.

Beyond that, Woody is easy to get along with and very professional. He’s as hands on as you need but not overbearing at all if you have experience when it comes to fishing. He’s also full of an immense amount of knowledge both about the fish but also the whole area. One of the big highlights was not even the fishing, but seeing a pod of killer whales. Woody happily took the time to watch them with us after the fishing had ended. Will definitely be back if/ when we’re in the area.

Mike was an amazing Captain. He was very responsive leading up to our trip and made sure we came prepared. The fishing was fishing and we were not completely successful but Mike worked his but off trying to get us on the fish. The trip overall was amazing and we had a great time. I would highly recommend Woody”s and will be back for a multi day trip in the future. The only thing I would change is that I would book more days with Mike on my next visit. Really enjoyed this man!

Fantastic trip. Second time going for salmon with mike and absolutely delivered on the experience. Had a solid game plan and got the opportunities on fish from the first hour. Took awhile to get everyone a fish in the boat but mike was just as determined as we were to try and get a fish for everyone. Above and beyond expectations 6 stars if all possible. Great fishing, great knowledge, great company looking forward to booking more trips for next year!

What started out as delays and uncertainty, due to weather and not crew, turned into a great day for fishing. I had expressed to Mike, our captain, I was looking for a good day with my family. He turned this into a great day of fishing. We limited out by Mike being flexible, knowledgeable, and lucky. I was hoping to catch 1 or 2, but luck and skill by Mike, we filled our limit for the day. Thanks again
