Trip was awesome! caught tons of fish just not many keepers. I could tell the Capt. Takes pride in his work he moved us around a lot trying to find the fish. He even made called to other guides seeing if there were areas that were hot to catch. A great experience with a great guide made the day awesome. Highly recommend. Thank will come again.

Thanks Captain Ruben for a great day on the water.  Lots of action and great company.  If you are visiting South Padre I would definitely recommend a day on the water with Captain Ruben.

This was definitely worth our time and money! Captain Ruben was prompt as our trip started at 7am.  He was ready to go when we arrived, had live bait and poles all ready.  The wind was crazy and the water was rough but he found a way to show us to the fish.  We caught red fish, flounder, speckled trout and saw a sting ray.  Captain Ruben is very pleasant and knowledgeable, he shared his vast experience with us and really made this a great day!  We will go again and take our grandsons!

Captain Ruben had great communication,  was very knowledgeable, and very patient with me and my two kids (10 and 13).  We caught plenty of fish and got some great pictures.  Captain Ruben took care of everything for us (bait, equipment,  supplies,  etc. ).  Under his expert tutelage,  we had a very successful afternoon.  We’ll definitely book another trip with him next time we’re in South Padre.  Just be sure to load up with plenty of sunscreen and water.

The water was beautiful and the boat was clean. The equipment was easy to use and great for beginner sea fishers. Captain Ruben gave us every opportunity to catch a fish. We moved around with a few different set ups and caught Redfish (which were delicious)  and a bunch of cat fish. Although we couldn’t keep the cat fish, they we’re fun to reel in. Captain Ruben was very friendly and entertaining and I would use him again as a guide!
