We had a 3/4 off shore charter with Capt. Ben and we had a blast, we caught some dolphin and a couple nice wahoos. He had a great crew that did all the work and I got to sit back and reel in fish after fish along with my wife. The equipment was 1st class and in great shape and he took all the pictures so we didn’t have to worry about that either. Can’t wait to go back and spend a couple more days this fall. Benn organised everything bar the flights, he provided airport transfers, hotel, marina transfers, three days fishing on his boat Good Day as well as two half days on the super panga Cloie frijole. Every thing went as planned and I had numerous firsts and best fish including sailfish on my own spinning rod and snapper in slow jigs as an experienced angler I had a great time and am already booking my next holiday with Jackpot sportfishing

I live about an hour south of Quepos, and this was my 3rd time chartering with Jackpot Sport Fishing.  The owner Benn is the ideal host - spends individual time with each guest getting to know them, and his captain is the best in town (maybe all of CR).  First mate Yoxan (pronounced similar to Jackson) is fun and knowledgable, and did an amazing job of cleaning the fish for us to take home.  We caught a striped marlin, a dorado and three tuna (one of which was 130 pounds and took 90 minutes to bring in!), and even got some sightseeing in when we encountered a super-pod of spinner dolphins - easily 300 of them leaping and spinning and chasing the boat. 
Take it from a local - Jackpot Sport Fishing is the BEST charter in the area!

Excellent day offshore fishing with Benn and his crew. Benn is a great guy and between him and his amazing crew, they do everything to make sure you have a memorable experience. We took a gamble to go out to the blue water to catch billfish (which was completely our choice). While out we caught a decent size Mahi Mahi that was filleted on board and bagged ready to eat later and hooked two Blue Marlin - one of which we battled with for over an hour! Shame we didn’t quite get it to the boat but this was not through lack of trying or effort by the crew. Highly recommend the company and will certainly do again if ever back in Quepos.

Fished 2 days offshore on a great boat called Good Day. Owner Benn (Jackpot Sportfishing Costa Rica) and captain Manuel with 1st mate Jackson. Fantastic crew. Benn came out with us both days in much less than perfect conditions. Had rain, 3 to 6 foot swells and off color water. We caught and released a 200lb Blue marlin. Boated 8 Yellowfin tuna, a tuna mackerel, a blue runner, 2 bonita, 40 silky snapper, 10 grouper and some other misc fishes. Never seen a crew work so hard to make a good trip. Fish were immediately filleted and put on ice after being caught. Benn was making sandwiches, cutting fruit, getting drinks for us. Treating us great. Also he loves what he does so it was great to be on the boat with someone that shares our passion. The crew also. Best thing was Benn taking pics and gopro vid’s then he gives them to you free of charge. If your fishing Quepos I strongly recommend Good Day. I can only imagine how incredible it would to be there in the high season. Pura Vida!
