Outstanding fishing charter for a 7 yr old. Fished an afternoon charter with my son in law and 7 yr grandson. Capt Jim was so good with my grandson. Boat was already set up with a rodholder placed so that the boy could reel big Chinook and steelhead by himself. Capt Jim was so patient with him. Capt Jim showed him what to do in such a calm and instructive way. Capt Jim showed him how to fillet the fish and gave him the fries to throw to the seagulls following the boat. As we were going in my grandson said “This was the funniest thing I ever did!” , thank you Capt Jim for a great trip, we will be back.

The Five Star reviews are spot on!  Captain Jim was exactly what we were looking for.  Great host on the boat, patient with our questions and excited to answer them.  Really, I had no idea what to expect but I can tell you after a 6 hour trip today, we are already planning our next one. 
Not to mention the fish!!  Capt Jim knows the lake and how to get fish!  Fun trip, Big fish, sore arm = Great day on the water!

Great trip. Signed up so I could show my 24 year old son fishing on lake Michigan. Caught five, 1 large rainbow and 4 lake trout.  Capt James is a wealth of information and extremely helpful. After the trip I bought a boat for sale two slips over. I highly recommend booking with James @ Long Gone 3 charters. You will NOT regret it.

Captain Jimmy , provided a great service,  my Birthday Trip almost ruined   due to people in my party canceling,  the Captain worked with me to make our experience a great one , we stayed focused until we caught a few large Rainbow Trout, the largest fish i ever caught in my life, will definitely use Captain Jimmy again *****
