I had some difficulty deciding how to write this review. We didn’t actually fish with Captain Taylor, we instead went out with another Captain he recently hired to run smaller charters. This Captain seemed to become frustrated quickly with every aspect of the trip, which we did not enjoy dealing with while on vacation. He called the morning of to update us on his location and seemed to become annoyed when I mentioned we hadn’t left yet, I reminded the Captain we would be there at the agreed upon time. We arrived and left the marina on schedule but we’re told we had to stop for live bait on the way out. Although it was slightly different than I experienced before I went along with it, but then we were asked if we had cash to pay for the live bait. This was not mentioned when booking and live bait was also shown as included. We paid for the live bait and we’re told the live bait well was not working currently but parts were on order. We were instructed to grab a bucket and add fresh water every ten minutes or so. The live bait did not last long, by the time we arrived at our first location over half were already dead and the rest were dying quickly. The Captain then became frustrated again and blamed us for not adding fresh water at the specified times, although we did. We continued fishing and we’re having a decent time until we moved to the third location for the day. Upon arrival at that destination the engine quit and would not restart, it was discovered the oil level was very low, bone dry. Unfortunately it was too late to add any and the damage had already been done. We called Captain Taylor and he brought another boat out to tow us in. Captain Taylor and his crew were very nice and apologetic. I did not pay for the trip other than the down payment required to book and the money for live bait. A full refund would’ve been nice but we just wanted off the boat at that point. I believe had we been with Captain Taylor the trip would’ve been much different. Wish I would’ve known we were with someone else.

Fun trip boys really enjoyed. cut short by bad weather but felt completely safe. Would recommend.

We had an incredible day on the water! Captain Lance was knowledgeable and put us on some fish! I would definitely go with him again! The boat was nice as well.  Thank you Captian Lance for the experience these Arkansas folks won’t soon forget
