Captain Lee was excellent - very patient while dealing with our 3 kids. He was very punctual, wasted no time getting us to the spots we needed to take advantage of a cool morning. If you want a great Captain who will go the extra mile to take care of you, Captain Lee is your man!!

The short review is that we would do this again in a heartbeat.

Captain Lee was ready and waiting for us when we arrived (and we were a few minutes early). Just moments later we were on our way and he knew the fastest route to get us to the preferred spot quickly. We (myself, my wife and two kids) are not fishing savvy but Captain Lee knew exactly how to instruct us and also how to handle the boat to help us reel in the big ones.

He was very friendly and willing to answer all sorts of questions we had about fishing, and the boat and the electronics on the boat and the local waterways. He clearly has tons of experience, plenty of patience and is very well prepared for the trip. He was also very responsive to communications leading up to the event.

It was easily one of the highlights of all the things we did in and around Myrtle Beach area.

Booked a 3/4 day trip with Capt. Lee Thomas. We had 2 adults and my 11 year old son. Captain Lee was amazing. I have never fished for redfish. He explained exactly what we we needed to do to catch fish. With the recent cold snap fishing was tough, however Captain Lee worked hard, moved spots and put us on fish each and every stop!

Eventually during the day my son got bored, Captain Lee explained how everything on the boat worked and what it did. Then even went as far as to cast to spots for my son to hook up!

I would highly recommend Fishing with Captain Lee and Hooked Up charters! We had an amazing day with family thanks to him!

This was an amazing experience.

Captain Lee is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the fish. There is nothing like flying through the marsh in tight channels on a center counsel boat. Captain Lee got us right on top of the fish and for the next 5 hours we caught Red Drum, Black Drum, and flounder. We lost the fish count almost immediately and even forgot to eat and drink all our provisions due to the fun we were having.

If you’re looking for a memorable fishing trip with some adventure on a very clean boat. I can highly recommend Captain Lee.

This trip was truly amazing Capt. Lee works his tail off to put you on the fish, never fished at this level was so helpful especially taking care of my wife casting for her & unhooking the fish, baiting our lines. We caught numerous redfish, speckaled trout, whitefish, wife landed a Ray, hooked 2 spinner sharks one jumped 5’ out of the water before breaking the line also hooked something big that shot to deep water so fast was crazy then broke the line best adrenaline rush I’ve ever had fishing as an Okie, can’t go wrong with Capt.Lee & so thankful we chose his charter
