Cannot say enough good things about Captain Shane, After safety, my biggest concern with bringing my six-year-old on board was holding his interest. When the fish weren’t biting (and they were biting quite a bit), Captain Shane did a great job of keeping him interested by pointing out other animals in the area for him to key in on (Dolphins, egrets, etc). Little man beamed when he caught his first fish, and half an hour later, his first shark!

My son-in-law, two grandsons who are 7 and 9, and I had a great half day of inland fishing with Captain Shane. Shane was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. He worked very hard to find fish for us and make sure we had a fun experience. We had a productive day of fishing and caught several different types of fish including a 10 pound red fish and a shark. My grandsons certainly enjoyed their first guided fishing trip and are asking when they can go again. We will definitely try to fish again with Shane the next time we are on the IOP. Thanks Shane for making the fishing trip special for us all, but especially for my grandsons.

Our group of 6 had a great time! We caught several different species of fish. A good number of trout and even a few sharks! Shane was extremely knowledgeable of the area and provided a lot of great insight and information about the local wildlife. He did a great job keeping bait on hooks and making sure we caught plenty of fish. If they weren’t biting, he was quick to take us to his next favorite spot to help keep it exciting. We did everything from catching the bait to landing some pretty big fish! Overall a very cool experience for anyone from beginners to experienced fishermen. We came home with a big bag of fillets and are cooking them up as I write this review. Can’t wait to do it again!

Fishing with Shane was so much fun! We lucked out with great weather and fish that were biting, so that was great. But Shane was so knowledgeable about the fish and fishing experience in the area, and on top of that he was also very personable and helped explain the best way to enjoy eating our fish (which was one of our objectives: to eat what we catch and the fish was AMAZING!). The fishing trip was certainly a highlight of our trip, and I would happily recommend Shane to anyone looking for a great day out on the water!

We enjoyed a half day fishing trip on the ICW with our two kids (ages 14 and 11).  Robert was our captain for the day who also does the Eco Tour so it was a treat to have him at the helm of our boat!  He found a few great fishing spots and everyone on the boat caught a fish or two.  The kids were thrilled to get a couple of fish on the line (baby shark, whiting, speckled sea bass)!  We even saw several porpoises jumping next to boat, making it extra special.  Robert is an absolute expert of these waters, history, fish, wildlife, you name it—WOW!  I highly recommend this trip—well worth it!  Thanks for an amazing time!
