Amazing day on the water.  They really do want you to catch fish, and we stuck it out for the full day.  Landed a 50lb Mahi around 11am.  Landed the Marlin around 1420.  I was almost ready to give up, but they were out there all day, making minor adjustments until the magic happened.  Estimated at 250lbs this Blue Marlin look about 24 minutes to land and made the trip worth it.

Capt Carlos was waiting for us on the beach when we arrived.  1st mate Alan was always ready.  The crew brought lunch which consisted of fresh subway sandwich (Italian style I believe), chips, cokes, waters, Imperial Beers (maybe 15?, so plenty for the two passengers) and juices.  They also had fresh watermelon which Alan prepared on the boat.  It was a long great day, and I would have left a good review had it not been successful, I’m just glad I was.  I will be booking Allin Sportsfishing on my next trip as well.  Pura Vida.

Wow, exceeded all expectations… we booked a full day trip ( 4 anglers) and we wanted to target rooster fish…. We all caught one if not two…. Went 7/8 on roosterfish and that has to be one of the best if not best charter I have ever been on…. I go on at least 3-5 charters a year for some time and this was the most professional and best by far….

Very friendly, very good at fishing and knowing area, very good food and drinks on boat as well…. I will now be coming back next year! No doubt who I will be going fishing with again… PURA VIDA!

Incredible full day trip with Capitan Mike and his crew. I went solo,but Nicholas and Tony still worked hard like they had a full boat of people. Always scanning and looking for signs of fish in the area. Being a fisherman in the states I had plenty of questions about fishing Costa Rica and Tony answered all of them for me. Had a great lunch with fresh fruit snacks and drinks “water,coke,beer” It was everything you could ask for in a trip. I’ll definitely be using them again when I come back.

We were on the hunt for rooster fish leaning from north of Jaco.  We raised a lot and caught many Jacks and finally moved to an area where e caught a roostea.  I 5 2qw was great fun
