From the back bays of Panama City Beach to the St. Andrew Pass, this area is home to a winning combination of grassy flats and winding water channels.
This means that these inshore fishing grounds are constantly regenerating themselves, staying fresh for prized species such as Speckled Seatrout, Redfish, and the mighty “Silver King.” Florida and Tarpon-fishing go hand-in-hand, and this is true of Panama City, too. If you’ve always wanted to battle this favorite, head to the Gulf’s shoreline waters near St. Andrew Bay and get ready to bow to the king!
Tarpon is only available during the summer months, but inshore anglers visiting at another time of the year won’t be disappointed. Panama City is home to a year-round population of huge Redfish and Speckled Trout. If you want to hook yourself a Bull Red, head to Panama City Beach. The grassy flats and pods here are often considered to be the Panhandle’s premier Redfish hotspots!

The bite was awesome! It was a blast catching some monsters even if we couldn't keep all of them due to being out of season. I would highly recommend fishing in PC when you get a chance, and Reel Steel Charters for booking. Captain Jason made sure we were on the fish the whole trip.
