Gilberto and Joel were great. They worked hard to give us a wonderful time. They provided lunch and beverages and taught us how to fish. I would recommend them for sure.

I did an all day trip for marlin and the crew was great at putting me near the fish and worked hard to hook up. I boated a 125 lb. Striped marlin. A great fight and great adventure. Thanks go to the captain and his boat mate.

From start to finish a great experience. We have fished on the Blue Tail three times now and never been disappointed. A quality boat with a crew that really understands the Cabo waters and how to fish. Highly recommend.

Had a fun time on the water! Fishing was a little slow, one bonito and missed one bite. Saw a few whales passing through and breaching along with a pod of dolphins swimming along side of us. Hollywood was a great captain, would def do it again.

Overall a fine day. I was met at the dock by a representative to provide a license and with a fee collected the rest of the charter fair on credit card which was good because this was a last minute decision to fish. The boat was clean but worn and needed some minor deck repair. The equipment was functional but worn. Fishing was slow but that doesn’t play into my review. The reason that this is a four is because of the equipment

We only caught one fish - it is March and that is a bad time for fishing. The crew was amazing and turned our skipjack into a great ceviche! The crew went over the top to give us a great experience, would highly recommend them!

This was a once in a lifetime experience. I caught my first ever 6-7 foot blue marlin. The crew was very helpful with tips on reeling in the beast that took an hour of pure strength and determination. I would definitely book this again.

Edger a 3 plus generation fisherman. He know how to catch then. We caught mackerel 1st this to use as vast before heading out and he wasn't concerned about the clock either.. I'm taking home a nice feed. Thanks again Edger!

Our family of 4 charted half a day fishing w/ Ismael. Not only were he and his helper incredibly friendly and helpful the entire time, we had a very successful day and caught 15 bonitos and couple other small fishes. We also saw whales and lost 2 fish to sea lions, which made the experience even better. We ended up having fantastic meals with our fish for the next 3 days. Though we didn't catch any yellowtail which we were looking forward to, all of us finished with huge smile on our faces.

Caught 9 Bonita and had a nice yellow tail on but a sea lion grabbed it while reeling in and stole it, but was still fun fighting the sea lion. Also had 2 marlins hooked up. Did not land the marlin but it was an excellent trip. Boat captain and deck hand worked very hard to get us fish and tried many different methods of fishing.

The captain and first mate were wonderful! However, I was told that we would have water and Coca-Cola free of charge. I’m glad we brought a few things of our own because this was not the case.

We had a n incredible day with our Captain and the Salt Dawg experience. I could not recommend it any more. If there were 10 Stars, we would have chosen that. We had seals, dolphins and a turtle along the route in addition to some massive yellowtail. Our thanks and I won’t book anywhere else ever again!!! Thank you!
