Listen to Capt. Bubba, he knows his stuff! And, if you listen, you will catch a bunch! Very attentive and helping you with bait immediately to get your pole back in the water. We weren’t professionals and it was nice to have help but not make you feel incompetent.

Galveston gets busy on the weekends. Allow for travel time to get to your pickup location. The weather and water conditions change daily so prepare for that clothing and time wise. Early Out Fishing

Depending on the time of the year, you will catch the species of fish that are moving. We fished the jetty’s and during the 2nd week of March you can expect to catch mostly Sheep head and Black drum. You cannot keep the bigger Black drum. Sheep head are great eating though.

I have been out fishing with many guides. I would rank this in the top 5 of my 60 years of fishing. 26 black drum,3 nice trout, one sheepshead, and as many missed as caught. Cory was knowledgeable, knew where to fish, and made for a great day. Will see him again soon and hope you will too.

My dad and I hopped in with Corey for an afternoon and we’ll both talk about this trip forever. We caught a bunch of fish and multiple species. Dad and I freshwater fish all the time but this was our first time in salt water. Corey was great to just BS with and felt like a friend we hadn’t seen in years instead of a stranger. A truly great fisherman and man, I can’t imagine a better person to go fishing with.

It was fun trip we were going after shark but only ended up catching a massive Redfish. We only saw one other boat catch a fish it was just a slow day of fishing. Captain Matt took us multiple spots trying to get us another one however it just wasn’t in the cards. That’s why it’s fishing and not catching. It was a great trip overall and if I’m ever back in Galveston I’ll be doing it again!

Bill and Connor where great as always. Great conversationalists, keep the atmosphere light and cheerful especially on the down time when the fish aren't biting. They're professional as always and patient with the less knowledgeable people. They moved spots frequently to get us on fish and cleaned and bagged them back at the boat slip. I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip or recommend them for anyone else looking to have a great time.
