Once again another grant trip with Captain Bryan! Would highly recommend anyone looking for a fishing guide to book with him. He was very patient helping a novice fisher like myself get the hang of it .

The Caption & crew were extremely professional and courteous to us. We all kept busy reeling the fish from start to finish. Would recommend this trip for a family event while visiting the Kure / Carolina Beach area!

Absolutely loved it. Fishing trip was extremely smooth from notifying us before hand and when we got there. Captain was very personable and knowledgeable. We will definitely book another trip with him the next time we come back.

Shane and Parker were great. It was pretty windy, but these guys did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and catching fish. Can’t wait until our next trip. This was our first time on the Fish Witch, but not the last.

Captain Mason knew where to take us to get black drum, we caught a bunch and all were a good size, one 7-8 lbs- what a fight it put up!!! We also caught a few red drum and pin fish. I would definitely recommend that you use him.

We had a great time. Fished a bunch of spots and caught fish. It was fun, relaxed, and easy. I’m looking forward to next trip with Rising Sun !

We had such a fun morning fishing with Captain Ger. Our family of 5 had plenty of room on the boat and caught tons of fish. Ger was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend for all skill levels and will definitely book again when back in the Wrightsville Beach area.

Today was awesome. Cpt Tony is very hands on guy. We never baited hook or ta fish off. He even cleaned and filleted them for us. We caught several puffer fish and some little blue fish but the catch of the day was made by my daughter. She caught a fairly large Sheepshead. I hope we can do this again next Spring Break.

Booked a 2 hour Kids trip. Capt. Guion was very patient and helpful w my 7 year old daughter. Conditions were calm and a little chilly but we still managed to catch a few fish. We all had a chance to see a pod of dolphins on way back in and he let her navigate from the tower on the last leg. She had a blast and asked when we could do it again. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Everything about the trip ran as planned. We got into plenty of fish during our near shore excursion. First mate David was super helpful and informative.

Pierre was very easy going and was the perfect captain for our trip. He knows the area and will make sure you have the best time and chance to catch fish! Will be booking again.

captain James put us on fish right away and kept us in them. Jack worked his tail off getting fish off the lines and getting lines back in the water. We had so many fish that sometimes all 4 lines were hitting at the same time. As a bonus, on the way back in the channel we saw 3 dolphins. What a great experience. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

My son and I had an awesome afternoon with Gary. He took great care of us, providing a range of equipment in great condition and various snacks for the afternoon. While fishing, he shared details with us of how to read the water to gauge channels and relative depth, and instruction on casting, knot tying, different types of bait to use and how best to bait the various hook types. Truly an educational afternoon that my son and I both found very memorable. Highly recommended!

Capt James and his first mate, Jack were outstanding. We caught over 70 Spanish Mackerel in under 3 hours. My two young boys had an absolute blast. It was nonstop action from the time we set the first line. I would HIGHLY recommend booking a charter with him. We’ll be back again next year. The kids can’t wait.

Had a great trip with Mason. I’ve done charters but my wife and daughter had not. Mason was good with everyone and helped each person appropriate to their skill level. Everyone caught good fish and we had a great black drum fish taco dinner!

We took 2 of our grandchildren for their first time of deep sea fishing. We chose to do bottom fishing. Unfortunately the fish were not really cooperating. So Captian Nick and his mate and suggested that we try some trolling and that was our best decision. We couldn’t reel in the fish fast enough before the next one was hooked. They loved the experience and would love to do it again. Thanks again Captian Nick and Shane we had a wonderful time even though my husband did get seasick.
