This was a first time Ice Fishing experience for my wife and she was very hesitant and nervous, but when we arrived at the dock and met Pat, our “captain”, she quickly was put at ease. Pat had prepared everything ahead of us and we were fishing in no time. Even though this year’s weather was not the best, we caught some fish. I highly recommend Captain Hooks Fishing Adventure.

Pat is a great guide. Knows the area and his craft like a pro. Would highly recommend for any fishing season.

Captain and his son had everything set up before we got there and they supplied us with everything we needed! We were able to get on some fish and had a great time!

Talk about getting put right on top of fish! Captain knew right where to go to limit us out in a few hours. Highlight was a 27.5" walleye!

After a week of hot weather the cold front hit right before our trip . I was worried, but it was obvious this man knows what he's doing. Despite the weather he put us rookies on fish. Great equipment. Nice guy too

Captain Pat Wingo is an extremely good Captain he helped us enjoy the beautiful opportunity that Northern Wisconsin has to offer. Knowledgable and well prepared. We already pan fried and ate the fish it never made it to a refrigerator or freezer. Delicacy.

We caught twelve fish on Lake Tomahawk on Monday, mostly bass and walleyes and six fish on Tuesday, mostly Northern Pike, including one of 30 inches. It was an awesome experience and I had a ball with Dave Lang.

We had so much fun fishing with Pat! He’s very knowledgeable about the lakes, conditions and fish. We learned so much and brought home a bunch of fish to fry. Thanks for a memorable day!

Captain Pat was absolutely perfect! Boat had plenty of room for 4 big guys comfortably! He put us on fish instantly and kept moving to other spots when things slowed down. Pat was a GREAT conversation piece that kept the 9 hour day even better. Brought home 28 fat crappie and had a monster pike lost in the net. Even bagged a nice walleye! We’ll be booking him again next year!

Great day out on the water with Dave. Fish were not biting good but he got us on fish and ended up being a great day. If you are looking for a good guide in the Minoqua area, book a trip with Dave. He even cleans and vacuum sealed our catch in bags afterwards.

My siblings and I had a great time with Captain Pat. The pike and musky were stubborn today but that’s why we call it fishing and not catching. Captain Pat was very friendly and had good stories. He worked hard putting us in good spots for fish and we did come away with a few.
