This was the first ocean fishing trip my boyfriend and I have gone on, and boy, the experience we had on the Prospector was phenomenal! Captain Lyle was the most incredibly friendly guy I’ve met in a long time. By the end of our trip, you wouldn’t have even guessed we were new to fishing for ocean fish. He was helpful and patient with us and made sure we were having fun. We will definitely book with Lyle again. What an experience.

Captain Joe always has saftey as first, if you want to go out and enjoy a great day of fishing and crabbing this is the charter to book. This is the second time we have gone out with Joe and he put us on the fish both times! Captian Joe is funny, caring, and considerate of those around him. Try the Ling cod and rockfish charter if you want to have a fun day and limit out!

We got lucky with the weather for this time of year and were able to go after rock fish in the ocean. Caught our limits & a couple of ling cod. We had a great trip with Captain Lyle this morning! He was knowledgeable and provided easy to follow instructions helping us to easily catch our limit for the day without any prior ocean fishing experience! Great communication leading up to the trip so even though we were coming in from out of state we felt very comfortable with the booking. We will be booking again next year for sure!

We had a blast. Captain Joe took care of all the equipment, made sure we knew what to do, and took us over the reef in successive passes to catch rockfish. Then off to salmon hunting - a relaxing trolling punctuated by episodes of intense activity. We saw a whale and dolphins, numerous birds, and caught lots of fish. Joe knew what he was doing and was friendly and informative. We will be back!

Lucky to book a trip on the calmest day even on the Pacific. It was water skiing smooth 1/2 mile from shore. Hit our rock fish limit in a few hours, gathered some crabs, and headed back in. Capt. Joe knows his trade. Boat is organized, safe, and clean. Gear is new and well-maintained. We'll be back--probably for Tuna. JJ
