Yes I would recommend fishing stripers for the first time in May. Jason from the Janie k sportfishing was excellent so was his deck hand both very knowledgeable and both went the extra mile for you to make sure you were comfortable and caught the fish you wanted.

Capt Jason is a laid back guy who is very pleasant. He was the only one out there who found the fish and then worked to find the best way to catch them. We were so busy catching bass we forgot to eat lunch. While we fished Capt. Jason concentrated on catching new live bait for us to put on our hooks. Most bass were too big to keep, but were really fun to catch. We did end up with one bass just small enough to keep. Great day!

Captain J and Steve were awesome! Their love for and knowledge of fishing were apparent throughout the trip. They were friendly, helpful, professional, and wanted nothing more than for us to have a great trip and come home with fish. I highly recommend a fishing trip with them.

My family and I booked a striper trip with the Janie K. Captain Jay and Steve put us on fish the whole time we were out on the Bay. We caught 11 stripers amongst the four of us. In particular this was the first time my wife ever fished and she caught (2) 39” stripers. If you’re looking for an action packed fishing adventure, these are the guys. Captain Jay and Steve went above and beyond to make my family feel comfortable and put us on fish!

Captain Jay and first mate Steve kept us on the meat all day! Best day of striper fishing in my life. They knew exactly where to be, speed to troll, bait to use, and it showed. Can't recommend these guys enough. Great trip all around! Can't wait to go again!
