This was my 8 yr old daughter’s first time doing some they like this. Captain and first mate were very attentive and made sure the day was about us. Highly recommend booking with them.

Captain Derrick is a member of the coast guard so is at the top of his class for knowledge and safety. Both the captain and mate Nick,worked hard to find the best fishing spots for that day. Highly recommend

Had a great day out with Captain Chuck and his 1st Mate Tony. Was our 1st time out fishing and they helped coach us through every step. From casting to hook and reeling in a fish. Very knowledgeable on the bay and surrounding areas. We caught a couple of fish. Definitely worth a book! You will have a great time.

Derick did everything he could ro make the trip work out just perfectly. He goes his own way and not just follow the crowd. They play by the rules and are honest. We landed a 31.25 (too big to keep), 25, and 23 inch rockfish. I have been on a handful to private fishing trips and Derick and Mike are as good as it hets. One suggestion is to make sure tou bring your own drinks. Highly recommend. Good value foe this area.

We had an awesome day on the water with Capt Derick. He not only knows his way around the water and his boat, but he taught the 12 year old boys a lot about the bay, fishing and the actual fish they were catching. They learned a lot and have memories for a lifetime. He was patient, accommodating, friendly and fun! Highly recommend. We will go again!

First timers, Heck yeah! Thats how we shall start. We planned the trip,.. made the trip and had theee best time! Plenty of fish we caught! Small and big 😁 Enjoyed the boatride aswel. Cap and his first mate were the coolest guys ever. These guys know what they are doing and had everything taken care of. This was a great charter. The captain is extremely friendly and sincerely concerned that his clients are enjoying themselves. In fact we will be going out with him again.

It was a great day on the Chesapeake bay even though we weren’t able to get on the fish however Captain Chuck kept us out a lot longer to keep trying. Nothing is guaranteed in fishing but we had fun nonetheless. Very nice boat and equipment. Would definitely go out again!

Great trip with a very knowledgeable captain and mate, would highly recommend. Captain will change marinas to minimize boat ride time and maximize fishing time, according to where the fish are located. Fished multiple techniques as the day progressed to follow the fish bite.

Great time on the Smuggler with Capt Derrick. Beautiful boat, very comfortable. Derrick works hard to get you a great experience; deployed 18 lines and trolled over 20 miles to catch our rockfish. Both trips the Smuggler was morred convenient to the action. We met one time at Ches Beach and the other at Kentmorre which eliminated run time and increased fishing time! My group likes to be hands on and Derrick adjust to your groups experience. I will definitely book again soon.

We booked a trip for the spring trophy season. We were greeted upon arrival and the boat was warmed up and ready to leave the dock. After a quick run to the fishing spot the lines were in. All matched new rods and reels outfitted with the right rigs, what a pretty spread. Derrick works hard to put and keep you on the fish. As a sport fisherman for nearly 30 years I can say we will be back reel soon.

My friends and I had a wonderful time on the safari girl. We caught several decent sized rockfish despite conditions not being the best. Captain Mark definitely knows what he’s doing and does it old school. Awesome!

Went out fishing for my military buddy's going away celebration. The boat was really nice and the Captain was awesome and put us on the fish. The Captain even offered us military discounts. Definitely booking with Fin N' Feather again next season.

Derrick is extremely knowledgeable of the area and fishery. He really knows how to pattern the fish to give you the best chance at a limit. I will definitely book another trip.

We had a great time celebrating my son's 13th birthday. The water was a little rough and the captain called me the day before to discuss how we could still make it a fun time.

We had such an amazing time fishing with Cpt Chuck! He was super knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly. We caught 60 fish between the two of us - nearly all stripers with a few catfish. We will definitely be doing it again. Such an enjoyable time!

Captain Jake worked and got us on the fish. We caught our limit and had a blast. Equipment was top notch and Captain Jake knows the bay and gets you in the right place. He cleaned our catch and we left with beautiful Rock fillets. Highly recommend this boat and Captain Jake. We'll be back again.
