Fishing in Cozumel during March is plentiful no matter what kind of angling action you prefer. Bonefish, Snook, and Permit crowd the flats, with a fair few Tarpon too. Offshore you have Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Marlin.

Best fishing season seems to be in spring/summer, but you can catch other species in fall / winter with a good Captain. Definitely recommend Abrimar / Captain Mario to take you on a very private trip. He grew up on the island- his dad was a fisherman who taught him where the fish are!!

Taxi’s to the marina will try to charge high fees for transportation. Make sure to set a price before departure or arrange with charter. Also, make sure to communicate your expectations to the captain before the trip. Make sure there are no hidden fees. You can keep your catch and ask resort chef to prepare a meal for you. Bring sunscreen and take some Dramamine 1hrs before your trip to avoid sea sickness.

We had a wonderful day fishing Cozumel with these guys! The bite was a little slow, but we were aboard with the hardest working crew we've seen. They were constantly switching the bait and checking the lines. We caught 4 fish, and boy was it fun reeling them in. The boat was nice with lots of shade from the sun and the lunch provided was delicious. 5 stars overall! If you're going to fish Cozumel, fish with these guys!

Terrific 6 hour fishing trip while in port on a cruise. Crew worked throughout the time to get us on fish even with the windy conditions creating a bit of a challenge. Caught barracuda and snapper. Captain cleaned the fish on the boat and took us in directly to the cruise port while recommending a restaurant to have the fish cooked. Great day!!

Captain Jose and first mate Lalo are very knowledgeable and helpful. We caught 6 snappers and lost over a dozen. We also lost a barracuda right at the boat. We saw other boats that didn't catch any or very little in comparison. Friends that work at the resort were given fish as well was the captain. It was a great day!

Family novice 4 hour trip. Captain Victor and Gustavo was patient and kind to my family. My 8 year old son caught 5 Mahi Mahi. Captain Victor filet fish and we took to resto Capitan Mantarraya for delicious lunch.

Communication with the captain prior to the trip was awesome. Picked us up from out resort which saved us about $40 in taxi fares. Last minute change of days on the captain’s part because of rough seas. On fishing day, crew and captain were awesome. They were seriously working their tails off. Caught six decent Durados. Great results in not so great seas. Biggest I’ve seen in a while but the 30ft Grand Slam handled it no problem. Great time and they are very family friendly.

My 15 year old son, girlfriend, and myself loved our reef fishing trip! We caught 2 trigger fish and 2 yellow fin. Captain was kind enough to drop us off at the ferry terminal so that we could easily catch the ferry back to playa! Great time!

Mario picked us up early morning and took us reef fishing. The day was quite windy and water was choppy. We managed to catch some fish. Mario dropped us off at a restaurant and they cooked the fish for us later that day. Delicious! Mario and his crew were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go again.

My wife and I went out with Mario and his crew. Mario was born and raised in Cozumel and was extremely knowledgeable about fishing in this area. We went bottom fishing and it did not disappoint. We caught many fish including a MASSIVE snapper. The boat is a perfect size for bottom fishing. I would highly recommend Mario and his crew!

Mario and his crew were awesome! Unfortunately the wind and fish didn't cooperate. But these guys made every effort possible to get fish on and didn't give up until time was up. The flying fish landing in the boat made the entertainment 🤣 Definitely would recommend these guys if you want to sportfish Cozumel!

Captain Jose of Tres Hermanos and his crew were phenomenal! I have fished over 20 charters and never before has a crew worked continuously to get us on fish they used multiple techniques constantly changing presentations consistently We landed 14 fish. No small fish among them They kept us out 2 hours extra. No charge! I highly recommend this boat and crew to anyone looking for an excellent fishing experience!

We had 7 hours in Cozumel while on a cruise. Easy to get a cab to the boat, and the captain called cab for us on way in and was there waiting when we docked. The wind was really blowing and the seas rough, but the boat handled it very well. The guys worked hard to get fish in the boat! We caught some big snappers, barracudas, and a good king. Overall was a great way to spend the afternoon with my boys! Crew provided good drinks and fresh fruit while we fished!
