The River Ebro lies in wait for freshwater enthusiasts. An eight-hour trip will give you the best chance of landing a Bluefin.
Spain also offers up some exciting reef fishing action. Head to the Balearic Islands for Snapper and Grouper, which make for seriously tasty table fare. You can also troll for Seabass, Dentex, and Conger eel. Most trips last between 4–8 hours, making this a great option for newbies and experienced anglers alike. Head further out in these waters, and you’ll encounter Albacore Tuna, Shortbill Spearfish, and Mahi Mahi, too.
