Joe has two boats that he regularly fishes from depending on the season and conditions. On his 21’ Umpqua Marine aluminum boat, anglers will find all the necessary gear, including fly fishing equipment and freshly supplied bait. The vessel is fitted with GPS and a fishfinder and can take up to four anglers.

I have a newer 21’ power boat for the bigger rivers and bays along with a drift boat for fishing the smaller rivers in pursuit of Steelhead, Salmon, shad and sturgeon.

I cater to the smaller group or individual. You won’t be in a huge boat with several folks you don’t know and 1 guide trying to help everyone. On the other hand, if you have a larger group we can accommodate you by utilizing other known local guides.

While Joe will supply all the fishing gear, you should bring a fishing license, tags, rain gear, boots, warm clothes, preferably in layers, food and drinks, and a camera. The departure times and locations are flexible. Kids are welcome to join the chase.
