My husband and I booked a full day deep sea fishing trip. By far the best fishing trip we’ve been on and we’ve gone deep sea fishing in Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas. We caught 24 barracuda! It was nonstop action. We wanted to catch some amberjack/tuna/grouper but the water was just too rough. The wind blew like crazy almost our whole trip but Rambo and Diego put us on fish despite the uncooperative weather and made some delicious ceviche with sum of our catch.

The crew of Mamacita (Rambo and Diego) did a wonderful job helping us catch snapper and grouper but the barracuda are abundant and keep eating our baits, and current is fast, so the downrigger is needed and need to work fast to catch the bottom fish.  Nevertheless, they did good.  The only thing I would recommend is a table for cleaning fish after the trip.  Rambo and Diego tried very hard to help us cleaning fish on the dock.  They did very good but were exhausted working hunched down.

We chartered this boat mainly for our 10 year old son who is learning to fish. The crew was so kind and gave him so much guidance. We didn’t need to catch our bait, although we wouldn’t have minded if we did since it’s still fishing. Diego worked nonstop to set the baits and cast the lines. He was very quick to hand of the rods to our kids so they could do the fun part. I was shocked that we didn’t lose any fish and the lines never broke, especially since we caught some big fish. In 4 hours, we caught 13 fish!! My son really wanted to catch barracuda and Rambo made it happen! He took us to the perfect spot and we were able to catch 5 barracuda immediately. When we docked, Rambo and Diego took time to lay the fish out so we could take photos of our big catch. Diego even helped us get a taxi back to our resort. Overall, this was one of the best fishing experiences we could have asked for. The price and service were phenomenal. If we return to Mexico, we will be sure to charter Mamacita again. Thank you for making our son’s wish come true!

Rambo and Diego are amazing and very personable! From the moment we arrived in the morning from the time we docked we felt very taken care of. Water, beer, and soda are offered. My son is a seasoned fisherman so he felt at ease during the entire trip however this was my daughter’s first time on the water and she had a blast! After the trip Rambo filleted some fish for us and it was delicious. Would recommend Rambo for any family outing no matter of age and experience. We will definitely be a repeat customer the next time we visit Cancun!

It was windy and rough the day we went so stayed in the shallower waters but that didn’t matter. Within minutes of getting the lines in we were hooked up with a double dose of barracuda. It was my wife’s first time fishing and they helped her catch fish after fish. The gentleman running this boat want you to catch fish. Never seen anyone work harder to make that happen. Not a wasted minute on the water. I truly think they would’ve stayed out all day just to fish a little more with or without us. Filled the box with barracuda and yellowtail. Couldn’t even finish a beer between fish. If you want a down to earth fishing experience I recommend highly.
