Ready to cast a few lines and call Hotel Casa del Golfo home for the night? We offer exactly that!
Around here you can cast a line in inshore and nearshore waters, and offshore fishing. Fishing here, you will often target Roosterfish, Sailfish, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Cubera Snapper, and more if you come at the right time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
Your fishing vessel will be a 30’ Release with twin 300 hp Yamahas; an excellent sportfishing vessel which boasts outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, a live bait tank, and other essentials. You’ll have the help of a First Mate on board, and please remember that tips are much appreciated! The charter will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
You don’t need to buy a local fishing license for these trips.
Meals are not included, but for an additional charge we can ask our hotel for food snacks as well as drinks, just make sure you know what to expect and communicate any dietary needs. Or …you can bring your own food.
Lastly, don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions that will help you pack, including what’s available on-site and any essentials you should bring.
