2nd time out with Tyler and Gordon’s Generational Guide service. What an amazing trip both days. Tyler is extremely knowledgeable about fishing and the local area around the rogue river. He put us on to fish immediately. 3 big steelies within an hour of being in the boat.

Both times I have been out with Tyler he has been extremely professional, well prepared and safe. His boat has heaters for those cold mornings, he is well equipped with safety gear and fishing gear. He will keep you fishing all day with spare rigs ready to go if you hit a snag, lose a leader, etc.

I’ve grown up in Oregon my whole life, fished with my dad when I was younger but nothing compares to how fun the fishing trips are when we go Fishin’ With Gordo! Tyler is very knowledgeable and patient when it comes to fishing all across the board. I needed a little refresher course since it had been so long since I last fished & he made the experience both encouraging and informative. We weren’t leaving the boat without a fish for my birthday and it was such an amazing trip! Lots of laughs, great food and all around fun. I’d recommend Tyler as the best fishing guide in the Rogue Valley! If you want to have the best time and catch some monster fish, he’s your guy!

My brother-in-law and I took a half day guided fishing trip down the Rogue River with Tyler Gordon.  The entire trip was excellent from the ‘Cadillac’ of drift boats to the quality gear. The best part was the guide, Tyler Gordon.  Third generation Grants Pass native, Tyler’s knowledge of the river, expert guiding and great conversation made this an experience we plan to repeat in the near future.

Fishing with Gordo was a top notch experience! Even if you’re not a fisher the experience of being on the boat taking in the beautiful scenery of the Rogue River is worth it. My husband and I are both pretty inexperienced but Gordo made the whole thing amazing! His knowledge and experience on the water proved good outcomes for us and we both got to reel in a few! The heater in his boat and of course his handmade pizza just really tied it all together. It is very obvious that he puts a lot of heart into making his customers comfortable and the experience unforgettable. He’s a really cool dude too! You definitely will not regret jumping on the river with him.

First river fishing trip for me and now I wish I could do this every week! Tyler is knowledgeable in operating his boat and going where the fish are, as well as explaining everything to someone who hasn’t done a lot of fishing. I’m not always a fan of boats but I felt comfortable and safe the entire time and got to enjoy the experience and the scenery and take a few pictures as a bonus! 200% recommend booking a trip, even if you aren’t an avid fishermen; it was such a fun morning on the water and I hope to do a trip again soon!
