Make the most of your time in New Orleans and come fish the same bayous once explored by the famous Pirate Jean Lafitte. Captain Mitchel has years of angling experience and has fished the waters of Lafitte all his life.
These waters hold game fish like Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Largemouth Bass, and more if you come at the right time of year.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, popping, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks – luckily, Capt. Mitchel will have some on board!
Capt. Mitchel will bring you aboard a 24’ Bay boat with a capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed.
Now, come aboard with Bayou Paradise Fishing Charters and get hooked!
