Our captain Jose was the absolute best!! He took us inshore fishing and my children and I were amazed at the variety of fish we hooked!! My son caught so many and such a variety he even hooked a flounder which was amazing to see in person!! My 9 year old daughter hooked an angel fish which was the most thrilling thing for her since it was her first time ever fishing!! It was also my first time fishing ever and I amazingly hooked quite a few fish for my first time. However the ABSOLUTE greatest was I wrangled and tried to reel in a baby shark but he broke my line and managed to get free. But it was the thrill and adrenaline and such an exhilarating experience!! Our captain was the greatest especially with many of my crew being first timers. He was the most patient and personable man he made sure EVERYONE was having a great time and lines were always baited the most attentive captain!! When they say guaranteed catch it is absolutely true! We reeled in so many that weren’t even on the “list” of fish that they guarantee to be caught. I would say our crew reeled in at least 8 different breeds of fish.. caught about 4 whooping “catfish” which real name escapes me but big catfish!! It seemed as if every time a line was dropped a fish came up on it. And of course it being our first time this mama had to take a bunch of pics and our captain was so cooperative even reminded me to snag pics of our catches before he released them back. He is amazing and made it truly an enjoyable experience for us first timers!! He is knowledgeable and can tell he loves what he does!! Would highly recommend him if you are able to request the captain!! This charter company gets my 5 stars for sure!!

Captain Karl was great! He was great conversation, and knew of great holes to target specific species. We caught red fish, mangrove snappers, and few other varieties. Unfortunately, the tide and winds were heavy, creating non ideal environment to catch a full coolers harvest. But man did Karl try his damned hardest to put us on, and we were all grateful for that. We had a good time with friends, but captain did drop his phone in the water 😅. The only downside to the trip was not catching as many keeper fish as we would have preferred, which wasn’t anything the Captain could have controlled. We would book with AMI again.

We were scheduled for a morning 8:00 am to 12:00 noon trip on Wednesday but had to reschedule to an afternoon trip from 11:30 to 3:30 due to hurricane Helene coming in from the Gulf. We were definitely disappointed in the schedule change because you can catch more fish in the am and it was much hotter in the afternoon than morning. But our captain Jose was great and made it fun. We didn’t catch any keepers and that was disappointing. We were looking forward to cooking up some fish for dinner. Unfortunately, no one can predict the weather and our experience was in “no way” the fault of the captain. He tried several different fishing spots but they were either, not biting or were too small to keep. Kudos to Captain Jose for a great job but an F- to the weather for ruining our long awaited fishing trip. ☹️

We had an amazing time fishing with a fantastic and friendly guild! From start to finish, it was all about good vibes, laughs, and some fun catches. The camaraderie made it even more enjoyable, with everyone celebrating each other’s catches. Whether we were casting lines or just chatting, the day flew by in the best possible way. We came down to florida for a wedding and captain Karl took us out for a few hours we immediately started catching a variety of fish . Karl always had a positive attitude and was patient with the members in any event. Snags and frequent loss of rigs and the captain would just hand you a new pole so you could continue fishing he would then rig up the pole so it was ready for the next snag . All members of the party had a great time with captain karl.
