Capt Zane and his crew mate Russia beat me to the boat, now I’m an eager fisherwoman and I got there early, they were already there getting the boat prepped and ready to leave promptly at 0700, I love efficiency. They greeted me, helped me aboard and we were off. The waters weren’t kind to many boats out of key west on 8/13/24 but they were kinder to us than anyone else. I attribute so much of this to Zane and his crew. These guys really know the waters and the structures underneath the water. I’m extremely happy to say I’m ending my trip on a serious high and going home with some fish for my freezer. I will definitely fish with these guys again and again and again
Don’t sleep on these guys, book your trip. Just have patience, remember these guys work on the water and phone service isn’t always available like land lubbers like to wish. They will get back with you, you will get your trip booked, you will have a great trip.

My friend and I are new to fishing and have several experiences going out to sea. This time was the best experience we have ever had. We are a group of foreigners and our English is not very good, but Zane is very patient and explains various equipment and fishing techniques. We caught a lot of MahiMahi, barracuda(30lbs), and lots of toadfish. My neck and arms were sore when I woke up the next day, so maybe that was the only downside.
I recommend everyone try getting on Zane’s boat and catching some big fish! Five out of five!!

Had an amazing time shark fishing with Captain Zane! He knows what he’s doing and will get you what you’re after. The overall experience felt like less of a charter and more like going out on a friend’s boat, which I appreciated greatly. Zane and his deckhand, Russia, did an awesome job of making sure we got the fish we were after and kept if fun and jovial the entire afternoon. Will totally repeat the next time we’re back in Key West.

Zane and his crew mate gave my group the best experience I’ve ever had here in the keys. Of the four times I’ve been charter fishing down here, they were the easiest to get along with and got us hooked up with about a dozen sharks during our half day trip. Everyone on the boat got at least one reeled in. Would highly recommend them, and we’re definitely booking with them next time we’re in town.

Captain Zane and crew were friendly. Boat was comfortable and clean. They aimed to please and put us on the fish. Once out to where we were fishing, within minutes we were bringing them on the boat immediately. Got more than enough for dinner. Captain Zane gave excellent recommendation for local restaurant to cook up our catch. Thanks for a good day fishing. Would recommend!
