Fishing out of Fort Pierce, Florida, Captain Charlie Conner is a U.S.C.G. licensed and insured captain who has been guiding in the Fort Pierce area for 20 years. He welcomes all levels of anglers, and will take the time to provide tips and advice about fishing the waters of the Treasure Coast.
Join him to experience the area’s world-famous inshore fishing opportunities, as well as the fantastic scenery of the Indian River Lagoon with the diverse ecosystem of the mangroves. Manatees, dolphins, and different species of birds, as well as a host of desirable fish species all call this area home.
You will be fishing aboard a 19’ Key West center console bay boat. The boat offers plenty of space for up to 4 anglers to enjoy the day. There’s a wireless trolling motor on board, so you don’t have to worry about scaring off those easily spooked specimens.
Capt. Charlie will provide you with Star rods and Shimano reels, alongside DOA lures. If you prefer fishing with live bait, he’ll provide it for you as well. At the end of the day, he’ll be happy to clean and fillet your catch for you to take home for a delicious meal.
When it comes to marine life, these are very rich waters, so expect to come across a variety of fish species. Your main target species will include Redfish, Snook, and Speckled Trout. You can also expect to run into Black Drum, Spotted Seatrout, Pompano, and Jack Crevalle.
