I want to start by saying guides, crew, and captains are what make trips great. Lighthearted and fun time, we would’ve had a great day just hanging out on the boat. Very easy to have fun when you’re with fun people! We were very hopeful that we would connect with a marlin on our trip but realize that’s not ever a guarantee. As fate would have it Franck put us on a nice blue marlin! It was my first pelagic ocean fish and I felt my inexperience show in some areas but Franck did everything humanly possible to make sure the fish stayed on and after an hour we got it in the boat!
Great time, great guide, if you’re looking for a charter this is the one!

My wife and I have done a fair amount of charter fishing between Hawaii, San Diego, the Florida Keys, Charleston all over the US and now French Polynesia. We came out for our honeymoon trip and found Franck through fishing booker. This man is easily among the top 3 guides I have ever fished with in terms of effort, equipment, expertise and dedication: and don’t forget hospitality. Many guides are stand-offish, but Franck was our good friend and host from the minute we shook hands. He adapted to our level of experience, really making us part of the team. His boat is a marvel of efficiency, with storage solutions that make it feel like he has space for everything. We used 6+ techniques throughout the day, and made a circle of the island of Moorea in pursuit of our trophy marlin; though we didn’t hook up on this trip, I know we’ll be back. Last thing, he says his English is not so good, but he is certainly fluent, and realistically, we should learn French to visit his home here in the islands. If we had another day, we would go out with Franck again.

Franck was an excellent captain and we had a great time on his boat around Moorea. We fished a mix of along the reef and off shore and were lucky to catch plenty of dinner and a Blue Trevally which has always been on our wish list. Franck was very friendly and accommodating and worked hard the entire trip to follow the fish. We would definitely recommend this charter!

Went out with captain Franck who could have been a better guide. We went during whale watching season so had to stick to deep sea fishing. Caught some skipjack tuna and saw some whales!

We had an incredible day with Capt. Franck.  He was so knowledgeable and kind.  We also caught so many fish (4 bonito and 4 tuna).  Highly highly recommend a day with Franck!
