They were great and super friendly. Being our first time fishing, they did all of the difficult tasks for us and taught us what to do. We caught 3 mahi mahi, 2 bonito, and 1 yellow fin tuna. I really wanted to see whales, catch a marlin/sail fish for pictures, and mahi mahi to cook. They spent the first few hours trying their hardest to find the marlin/sail fish but we were unable to find one. To make up for this, they let us stay a little longer until we were content with the other fish that we caught. We did see whales from a distance, and had plenty of fish that we were planning to eat. They provided us some very delicious and much needed snacks, drinks, and pineapple. We listened to music the whole time, and they pointed out lots of different things in the water like turtles and fish. At the end they prepared the fish for us to conveniently take home, and we had some of the best meals in our life at a “catch and cook” restaurant that they also recommended.

Excellent offshore fishing trip with captain Jose on the Pacific Ocean. Jose pays attention to every detail, so from promptly responding to having the right equipment on board. We did a tour 35 miles off shore and spotted many dolphins and turtles and even a whale. Caught a bunch of tuna, but unfortunately the marlins and sailfish didn’t bite. On the way back we continued fishing more toward the shore and managed to catch a red snapper. If you are around Quepos, this is the go-to guy

Had a perfect half day inshore trip with Jose and William. We had experienced and novice anglers and they were extremely accommodating to both. They tailored our trip to species we wanted and delivered! Great time with refreshments and food on the boat. The next time we come to Quepos we will be booking Jose!

Jose and his deck hand were great. Both very friendly and speak good English. They knew where the fish would be biting, and took us there for a successful morning. We had steady action for most of the day, catching a few different species. We caught plenty of fish for dinner that night, and released many more.

We had a very nice five hour fishing trip.

The captain Jose and his assistant were very helpful.
