I’ve been on fishing trips with a crew that was not invested in the excitement of the customer.  This crew is not that at all.  They worked HARD the entire day, if the bite slowed we moved and got back on it.  They were fun, welcoming, educational and really cared about us while we were on the boat.  I should add we did nax out our catch and they were clear to present the rules on keepers vs not. Really a great day, my son and I had a great time and we will be back.

We had a great time on Vista Lady yesterday. Capt Ryan and Kramer the mate were excellent. They made us feel welcomed from the start.

My father in law and my son both hit rockfish early in our trip but then we hit a dry spell. That’s when the captain showed his intelligence and switched out some of the riggings. We were back hitting fish within minutes.

Kramer, the mate, was very helpful and entertaining as we fished. He was very helpful with my son while he was catching rockfish. There might be a YouTube video of him demonstrating how to use the belt. The banter between him and the captain was great.

After we maxed out on our rockfish, we started bottom fishing. That’s when we started catching and not fishing. The captain knew exactly where to go to hit some perch and hard heads. As soon as we put our rods in the water, we were pulling up fish. They weren’t trophies, but it’s always fun to be reeling in fish instead of just holding your rod.

I would highly recommend this charter. The boat was extremely comfortable and you get to sit in the cabin during your short trip to the fishing spots.

We had a great fishing trip with Capt Jeff! Great communication, and we were able to reschedule due to forecasted thunderstorms. My boys (ages 15 and 11) and I went for a 3 hr trip on Sun morning.  We caught 5 big catfish and a bunch of perch. It’s so fun and easy to fish when the capt runs the boat, finds the fish, helps us bait and cast, and then filets the catch for us! Would definitely recommend for families.

Great time with Jeff and the Vista Lady Fishing Charter. Jeff was super professional and encouraging. We had a party of 4 and all of us caught fish. Jeff helped us capture the moment and we will definitely book again.

We were targeting catfish and Captain Jeff put us on the fish.  We caught channel and blue cats, as well as rockfish.  We even stayed a little past the charter time so we could get our limit of rockfish.  We would definitely consider booking with Captain Jeff again.
