Family Time Sportfishing is located in Erie and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters.

Capt. Justin will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing on Lake Erie. This involves 5 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Walleye, steelhead and lake trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as trolling and jigging.

Your fishing adventure starts on a restored 25’ Penn Yan cuddy cabin that can safely take up to 4 anglers. The boat is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and radio electronics.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

    If trolling isn’t your style and you’re looking for a hands-on experience, join us for a drift fishing trip. This is a 5-hour trip for up to 3 fishing. We will make a run to the fishing grounds and cut the engine and use light spinning tackle and pursue walleye. This method usually produces an array of different species and makes fun for the whole family. We can provide rods and tackle or bring your own.

    This is a full day trip where you will launch out of the northeast marina and troll the depths for trophy Lake Trout. Spring is a great time to target this big prehistoric fish. Lake Trout is one of the biggest species of gamefish that Lake Erie has to offer, as it averages 10 plus pounds and it is not uncommon to see it tip the scale into the 20s!
