Capt Harold was very knowledgeable, great equipment, great with our kids and great conversations. He’s a pleasure to fish with.  Unfortunately we were following up two weeks of the National Walleye Pros pressuring the waters as well as sustained 25-30 mph winds. No one can control that, and the fish were tough to catch.  We got a few and I can thank Capt Harold for his expertise because otherwise I think it would have been a bust under those conditions..  Kids had fun in the end but wish conditions were better on the only day we had to go.. Harold was great though!!! 6/5 stars for him!

The night before Capt.Harold called to persuade my grandson and me to move to the following day.  He said the weather had turned.  Rain and big mayfly hatch would likely affect the bite.  Unfortunately, I didn’t have any flexibly in my schedule, so decided to go.  It was as he predicted.  But props to Capt Harold for being honest and offering alternatives.  He and his mate John worked hard to make it happen but it didn’t. I’ll be back to fish with him this fall with confidence.

We had an epic time fishing with these guys.  They were fun and very kind.  Had a great time and highly recommend!! Hopefully we can come back again to try out different types of fishing.

Harold was an absolute pleasure. He was very down to earth and very welcoming. This was our first charter but definitely not our last. Can’t wait to fish the UP again!!

We marked many fish but, fish were not biting for any of the anglers today. Caught a few and we had a very enjoyable day!  I highly recommend.
