Apalachicola's Legacy Charters
Come visit Apalachicola, Florida and embark on a fishing adventure together with Apalachicola’s Legacy Charters. Captain Marcus Stratton is a fourth-generation angler who grew up exploring the Apalachicola Bay and River as well as their beautiful and fish-rich surroundings. Join him in fishing inshore and nearshore waters, reefs, and wrecks, and create many fishing moments you won’t forget!
Your boat for the day will be a 24’ Seastrike center console with room for up to 4 guests. It’s powered by a 250 HP Yamaha four stroke engine that can reach speeds up to 25 knots and is equipped with all the modern navigation electronics. In case you need it, there’s a walk-in head toilet you can use. The boat has also got outriggers, a livewell, and an ice-box.
Using light tackle, you’ll be bottom fishing and trolling the waters in order to catch various Grouper species, Lane and Mangrove Snapper, Black Seabass, Spotted Seatrout, Kingfish, Amberjack, as well as Flounder. It’s up to you whether you’ll keep your catch or return it into the water.
All the fishing rods, reels, tackle, lures, and drinks will be waiting for you aboard when you arrive. The captain also covers you for a fishing license, so pack nothing but some snacks. You’re also welcome to bring your kids on the trip.
