Join True Blue Ocean Adventures for a memorable fishing trip and explore the wonderful waters of New Zealand. You can have a great time as you fish and dive for various prized species that these rich grounds have to offer. The Whakatohea mussel farm, White Island, and Whale Island will be the destination you’ll explore and have fun on. Skipper Aimee will meet you in Whakatane and make sure you have a great experience. Choose your trip and hop aboard!

You’ll fish from a 34’ Senator saltwater fishing boat that can fit up to 10 fishos. It runs on twin 225 HP Yamaha engines, uses comprehensive navigation gear, and is equipped with a livewell. You can use the onboard toilet and kitchen as well as an esky to store your catch.

You’ll have a great time chasing Red Snapper, Tarakihi, Kahawai, Gurnard, and Hapuka. To reel them in, you can use bottom bouncing as well as trolling. You’re free to take home the fish you catch if you want to. Also, kids are always welcome to Captain Aimee’s boat, so don’t have second thoughts about bringing them with you.

The captain takes care of all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle. You should bring food and drinks of your choice.
