Super knowledgeable, educational and professional!

We grew up deep sea fishing on the east coast and Carribean and this trip rivaled all of it! Caught so many fish we had to throw some back! He really know the lay of the land or should I say sea out there! Saw dolphins, sea lions, and all kinds of wildlife on top of the sheephead, rockfish, whitefish and many more species that were caught They do not oversell at all! Have a fear of the sea? Taylor is very smooth with the handling of the boat and it was an even keeled ride all the way out and back!

Even still, we did not come prepared with enough cash to buy the one day fishing licenses at the marina and not only did they come help and purchase it for us and streamlined the experience, they were also able to include it in our total invoice which we did not have to worry about, paying with credit card, until the fish were cleaned, fillet’d, and we were safely back to our vehicles! Talk about service!… but bring cash you guys lol

Fishing tales will always be a memory and story we tell with this trip. Whether it was a big fish, good conversation and sore arms we wouldn’t trade the experience. My wife had been charter fishing several times and this was my first. From the first call to the handshake goodbye we felt like longtime friends. We are already planning another trip.

We had a great time with Andrew and Awol Sportfishing. I booked the trip for me and my two sons, 16 & 10, during our family vacation. We ended up upgrading to the Coronado Islands trip the day before and am glad we did.  We caught 8 yellowtail and some calico bass, and could have kept going, but the kids were beat. Smiles all around and our freezer will be full! The kids will remember this trip for a long time. Thanks Andrew!!!

We had a great time on our adventure.  Captain Andrew and his sidekick Ace are fantastic.  They went above and beyond our expectations.  Lots of fish were caught, we had fun fun fun.

We were visiting from Pittsburgh and booked a half-day. Calico bass and barracuda off LaJolla were very active. We decided to gamble and look for yellowtail a couple miles offshore. Lack of sun made finding floating kelp tough, though Taylor tried and more than made up for it by finding dolphins and a blue whale.
