I was a little nervous because Daniel’s pricing was quite a bit lower than others in the area. As I was solo and very experienced at fishing (dozens maybe even over 100 charters; I own my own saltwater fishing boat) I decided to take the risk and I was traveling with my own gear so I could catch fish, I just needed to get to spots. The airline lost my bags and I ended up relying on the captains gear. I wasn’t disappointed. He did a GREAT job putting me on fish in tough windy conditions. I will definitely go with Daniel again when I come back. I caught quite a few snook(was what I came for), speckled sea trout, a redfish and even a jack crevalle. Daniel is a pleasant person to talk to and I have already recommended him to friends.

Capt. Dan made this trip. From the time of booking the charter, up to the time the boat left the dock we had complete and prompt communication. It was very windy the day we went out and he called to give us options for better weather. Unfortunately, our timeline didn’t allow us to make changes. He still took us out at our scheduled time and work very diligently to find us fish and calmer waters. We could not have asked for anything more!

This was the second time out for my son and I with Captain Dan and we will certainly look to get out with him the next time we come to Fort Myers.  Dan is skilled at making an enjoyable time regardless of the fishing experience of his guests.  He is extremely personable, knowledgeable and accommodating.  Not only does he put you on the fish, he teaches you different techniques to catch the fish. My only complaint was that he may have taught my son a little too well as he outfished me on the day 😄.  Bottom line is I can’t recommend Capt Dan highly enough and am already looking forward to my next trip out with him.

My wife and I had a fabulous time on the water with Captain Dan. We caught a variety of fish including sea trout, ladyfish, jack crevalle, mangrove snapper, and snook. A reddish gave us the slip first thing in the morning and were difficult to find the rest of the day. We saw a large tarpon, a 5ft shark, stingrays, manatees, and dolphins even though we didn’t really set out for sightseeing. Captain Dan sure knows how to navigate the waters safely, where to find fish, and how to get them to bite. This was my first time fishing saltwater and he was passionate about giving us a great experience. His boat is set up excellent for two guests and provides some high quality gear. I would highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Dan.
